Ekovest is controlled by Tan Sri Lim Kang Hoo, ( a brilliant entrepreneur ) is eyeing new infrastructure projects as on-going work on the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (Duke) phase 3 and River of Life projects boosted earnings in the fourth quarter.
Net profit in the three-month ended June 30 (Q4FY19) jumped 42% to RM23.3mil compared with RM16.4mil made a year ago.
Revenue was up 15.3% to RM338.5mil.
For the full year, Ekovest has a net profit of RM140.48mil, or 5.3 sen a share.
Ekovest expects the ongoing construction of SPE, River of Life beautification packages, the toll revenue and the sales of completed properties units will continue to contribute positively to the group's turnover and profitability in this coming financial year
Ekovest is working closely with the government on various infrastructure projects which has been proposed to the government - watch out for the coming Budget 2020 !
This includes projects in Sabah and Sarawak, where Ekovest are working with local partners to bid for tenders.
